Team Gift
Gift Exchange
It is a tradition that teams exchange a small gift bag at Nationals. This should be something that costs no more than $5 per bag and should be representative of your team or your area.
Team names will be exchanged at the managers’ meeting and the gifts can be traded at the opening ceremonies before the parade. This will now be your new “sister” team for the rest of the tournament.
Sister teams will parade into the hula show and sit together and hopefully will support and cheer for each other at the tournament.
Please let us know if your team does not wish to participate in the gift exchange.
Pin Trading
It is also a tradition to exchange pins.
Pins are representative of your team.
Most of this will happen at the opening ceremonies.
Pin trading seems to be the most popular at this age level.
