2010 MGS Recreation League Registration (FAST PITCH GIRLS SOFTBALL)
Walk-In Registration Postponed
NOTICE - Midway Girls Softball's walk-in registration scheduled for Saturday, February 6th from 9 AM - 1 PM at Limestone Presbyterian Church has been postponed due to the impending weather. Walk-in registrations will be available now on February 13th and 20th from 9 AM - 1 PM at the same location. Signup Location: Limestone Presbyterian Church (right next to the Grange) on 2/6 and 2/13.
The last date for signups is February 27th for all ages groups except 14 +. A late fee of $10 will apply. These signups must be done in person at evaluations at McKean HS. Times will be determined.
IMPORTANT AGE REQUIREMENT: Girls must be aged 18 or younger AND still in high school. Please contact NCC Parks and Recreation if you do not meet this requirement and would like to be part of a fast pitch softball program.
Registration Options
There are 3 ways you may register.
(1) In
person (Feb. 6 & Feb.
13) - In-person registration will take place the first
two Saturdays
in February from 9 AM to 2 PM at Limestone
Presbyterian Church (right next to the Grange) If you
registered last year we plan to provide you a
copy of your registration information from last year.
Alternatively, you may complete and bring the two forms
below. In addition, registration fees must be paid by a check
made payable to "Midway Girls Softball".
(2) Mail In - Complete
and mail in BOTH forms below along with a check made
payable to "Midway Girls Softball" by February 24 .

(3) On-Line (through Feb. 24) Use
"Buy Now" button below. Online Registration has closed. Pay on-line with
PayPal or a credit card. After you
pay you will then be asked to complete a registration form on-line (ONE
FOR EACH PLAYER). So you do NOT need to
complete the Registration Form below. In addition, a signed Appointment
of Agent (waiver) must be provided. This can be
given to your coach (MGS must have the signed form before the first
practice). On-line payments include a $5
convenience charge.
NOTE: All players moving to a new age group or new to the league must attend evaluations on February 27 (excludes 6U and 8U).
Evaluations will be held Saturday, February 27th and the times are as follows for each age group:
10Us - 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
13Us - 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
14 + - 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Players should bring a glove and wear sweats and sneakers.
Location is McKean High School in the main gym.
No matter which way you register, you need to provide 3 things:

Registration Fees (*): Maximum fee of $250 per household.
(*) This registration
fee includes a $25 participation fee per household which is refundable
upon completion of a board-approved volunteer activity.
To receive a refund the participant must (1) complete the activity, (2)
complete the Participation
Fee Refund Form form which must be signed by a board member,
and (3) mail the form to the MGS address listed on the form by July 31.
Payment and forms must be received by February
24 or a late fee will apply (6U, 8U, 10U,
and 13U age groups). The last day for registrations in the
14+ age group is March 7.
Incomplete mail in registrations may be returned to you.
